From the early web to modern platforms
The business was founded in Sweden in 2001 and adopted the Webbfabriken name and domain in 2002. The web of that era bears little resemblance to the systems organisations depend on today. Webbfabriken has evolved with that change - from web development and hosting into software platforms, cybersecurity, infrastructure, integrations and digital operations.
Founder-led and technically driven
The company remains founder-led. Architecture, infrastructure and product development stay close to the people responsible for operating the systems. This creates short decision paths and allows the company to adapt quickly when customers, technology or risk change.
