Robert Ikenberg

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Robert Ikenberg is the founder and chief executive of Webbfabriken, which he started in 2002 as a web agency in Stockholm. He is chairman and majority owner of the group’s operating entities — Webbfabriken AB, Webbfabriken Web & Security Solutions AB and Webbfabriken Ltd / UK Filial — and remains directly involved in technical and strategic direction.

Robert’s background is in software development and information security. Before founding Webbfabriken, he worked with technology infrastructure in the Swedish telecom and energy sectors, including time at Ericsson and Svenska Kraftnät, where he was involved in operations and security work for critical national systems. That background still shapes how Webbfabriken builds and operates customer environments today.

In 2018 Robert led the launch of WF SecurityCloud™, the company’s proprietary cybersecurity platform, which is now used to protect the websites and clients Webbfabriken hosts and supports.

Operating team

Webbfabriken runs as a small, integrated team where the same people are responsible for delivery, hosting and support. Below are some of the key roles in the operating organisation.

Operations Manager & UX/UI Designer

Leads day-to-day operations of the web agency and the customer-facing service line, with hands-on responsibility for design and delivery.

Business Development

Responsible for new customer relationships, account development and Microsoft 365 services across the customer base.

Susanne

Administration & Project Coordination

Manages administration, project coordination and customer communication, supporting both leadership and delivery teams.

IT Service Manager

Responsible for the IT services area, including computer service, on-site support and store operations on Lidingö.

Filippa

Creative Director

Leads brand identity and graphic design work, ensuring visual consistency across customer projects and Webbfabriken’s own brands.

Kevin

Full-stack Developer & Security Engineer

Builds advanced systems and security tooling that underpin Webbfabriken’s platforms and customer deliveries.

Governance

Webbfabriken is privately held and majority-owned by its founder. The group operates without external venture capital, with strategic decisions taken inside the company.

Ownership

Robert Ikenberg is chairman and majority owner of the operating entities in the Webbfabriken group.

Decision making

Investment, technology and customer decisions are taken by the operating team, anchored with the founder.
