Webbfabriken has run customer infrastructure since 2002. The platforms we develop are built to solve problems we see on a daily basis — performance issues, security incidents, hosting limitations, repetitive operations work — not as speculative product ideas separated from the business.
That is why our most important platform, WF SecurityCloud™, started inside the operations team. It was built to protect the websites we already hosted and clients we already supported. Today it serves the same role, at larger scale, and is the foundation for the cybersecurity area of the company.

WF SecurityCloud™ protects websites, WordPress sites and client environments that Webbfabriken hosts and operates. It works at multiple layers — from threat detection on hosted sites to client-side hardening on workstations and servers — and is integrated with the operations work that Webbfabriken delivers.
External security products optimise for breadth across all customers globally. We needed something that worked specifically for the websites we host, the WordPress installations we maintain and the clients we support. Building our own platform let us match the tool to how we deliver work.
